I bought this KB for a co-worker who just got a new laptop and needed a KB/mouse combo.

Well he loved it. It's a very thin, practical and good looking KB, just as some laptops KB, flat and cool.

Overall, the guy was very happy with it.

Only one note. I don't know if they have updated the picture of the product, but it's not the same bulky KB it shows. For a better reference, there are a couple of pics that a reviewer posted. Those are more precise.

Most reviews have been spot on about the keyboard. Great design, quiet, overly bright light on the receiver. No quality issues. When propped up on its stands, the center portion bends a little on pressure, but I suppose it's the price for such a slim profile.

Initially the mouse was alright. I could bear with the loud clicks. I liked the mirror finish (easier to clean than those non-slip ones).

But then the mouse had some connectivity issues. The light on the USB receiver lights upon every keyboard hit and mouse movement. Sometimes the mouse would hang for split seconds, and the light would go out even with the mouse moving. Nonetheless this would only happen a couple times a day.

However I've encountered two occasions (in the past 4 days that I've owned this) when the mouse would completely die. I had to remove the battery and re-insert it for it to work again.

Purchase the keyboard alone if you can. I'm giving 4 stars nonetheless for the deserving keyboard.

The only comment I have is that I have no way tell if the Caps Lock is on or off.
There are no lights on the keyboard, or an icon on the desktop, to tell me this.
This for me is a major flaw, because most log ons-are case sensitive.
One of these days, I am afraid, I am gonna be permanently bounced off a website because I didn't know whether Caps lock is oN or oFf!

I haven't had any trouble with the keyboard after a year of occasional use. The mouse's buttons, however, have worn out in that same time with also only occasional use. Very frustrating not to have a mouse now; it should've withstood more than a year's light usage. -- Inferior Mouse

Perfect keyboard
Light on the USB is way too bright but you can always mask it
Mouse is very hard to click and make too much noise; this is unacceptable for the price.
Potential buyers should move on to other products on the market -- horrible mouse
